Salmon industry is very questioned today, notwithstanding we stand by it, because we think we have an incredible industry with too many great things to share.
One of the main things that are worthy of sharing, are the histories of the people that are a part of this industry, different stories that share hard work and personal growth.
This industry was forged in a few years by excellent people, making many mistakes in between, but now we can say we have a modern industry, great knowhow and lots of opportunities!
“I've developed my entire career in Salmones Aysén. I entered in 2009 in basic operations. I am grateful to the company and the people who make the company what it is. I think this have increased my commitment to this Project in the past and for the future. My family is very proud of me, and they feel very grateful that I can develop myself in an occupation that I know since I was a kid. Most of my family have worked in this industry since the 90’s. It has also given me the ability to give my children a good education, so they can develop their skills since they are kids. I have achieved professional growth, also implemented different successful changes in productive process. And of course, conformed different work teams that have had good results. I have earned trust in various areas for the company, also I'm more confident of my self and I’ve learned to be humble and resilient.”
“I began my career in Salmones Aysén, as inspector in the outside of the processing plant. I have been growing since then feeling more confident with my job. This year I’ve asked for more responsibilities and now I'm in charge of the whole cleaning team. My family is very proud that I've achieved in a small amount of time such an important job, and that the company have trust on my skills. My professional growth, the money, good relationship with my boss. I think I have earned the trust of my bosses throughout the different jobs I've had in the company, made good relationship with my colleagues and I have develop my soft skills with the people I have in charge.”
Salmones Aysén has been the company where I’ve grown. I started since the beginning in charge of human recourses, afterwards I started in charge of benefits for the collaborators. I've learned a lot and improve my working skills within this company. This work has brought stability to my family, it has been the driver for my long term and short term projects. My greatest achievement is to help all the people that work in the company with their needs: people are the base of the company, so we have to take care of them and give them security and stability.”
